Air Fryer Red Potatoes
Buttery Chive Red Potatoes are a great side dish that will go well with just about any protein. We are keeping the flavors simple with just butter, chives and potatoes. That doesn’t mean these potatoes are lacking in flavor. The zesty onion chives are the perfect compliment to roasted red potatoes.
Ingredients Needed For Air Fried Butter Chive Potatoes (screenshot for grocery list)
- Red Potatoes
- Oil
- Salt/Pepper
- Unsalted Butter
- Fresh Chives
How To Roast Red Potatoes In An Air Fryer
- Cut potatoes into equal size chunks. (quarter small potatoes, for medium/large potatoes cut in half then quarter)
- Toss potatoes with oil, salt and pepper. Transfer to greased air fryer basket.
- Air fry at 400ºF for 10 minutes, toss half way through. Check tenderness then cook 3-5 more minutes until potatoes are fork tender.
- Transfer potatoes to large bowl. Toss with melted butter and chives. Serve hot.
Cooking time varies depending on each air fryer brand. I have owned several different air fryers and each brand cooked very differently. Check after 10 minutes then cook longer as needed.

- 2 Lbs Red Potatoes
- 2 Tablespoons Oil
- Salt/Pepper
- 4 Tablespoons Unsalted Butter - melted
- 2 Tablespoons Fresh Chopped Chives
Instructions
Cut potatoes into equal size chunks. (quarter small potatoes, for medium/large potatoes cut in half then quarter)
