Hot Spinach Artichoke Dip Made In An Air Fryer
Dip made in an air fryer. . .I know, CRAZY, right!?!
It’s true. Not only is this Air Fryer Spinach Artichoke Dip easy and tasty, but, it is ready in just about 15 minutes. We start by cooking the spinach and removing the remaining liquid. This is a very necessary step to prevent a watery dip. You can use frozen chopped spinach, see recipe notes.
Once the spinach is prepped it’s time to mix then air fry. That’s it.
The only thing about making dip in the air fryer is that you are at the mercy of the size of your air fryer. So as long as you don’t need a dip to serve 12+ people then air fryer dip is a great option. This is perfect for when you are preparing a large feast and have limited room in the oven; now you can make your appetizer right in your air fryer.

NOTES:
This size will work in a large air fryer, I use a 10qt Nuwave. If using a smaller air fryer, cook two smaller dishes in two batches. Or half this recipe to fit into a smaller vessel that will work with your air fryer.
You can use frozen chopped spinach. Just thaw, drain liquid completely then add to dip mixture. It is very important to remove all liquid, especially from frozen spinach otherwise the dip will be watery.
Can You Use Frozen Spinach For Spinach and Artichoke Dip
Yes. You can use frozen chopped spinach. Just thaw, drain liquid completely then add to dip mixture. It is very important to remove all liquid, especially from frozen spinach otherwise the dip will be watery.
Can You Use Canned or Frozen Artichokes For Spinach and Artichoke Dip
Yes. I prefer the marinated artichokes because I like the flavor and texture better than canned or frozen. But canned or frozen artichokes will work as well.
Because frozen and canned artichokes will have a lot of water you will need to remove the liquid. It is very important to remove all liquid otherwise the dip will be watery. The oil from the marinated artichokes does not affect the dip as much as water does.
What Do You Serve With Spinach Artichoke Dip
Chips, crackers and bread are the usual partners for hot cheesy dips.
If you are going low-carb, serve this dip with cucumber slices, celery, cheese crisps, raw cauliflower or store bought low-carb chips/crackers.
Can You Reheat Spinach Artichoke Dip
Yes you can. Cover the roasting dish with foil and reheat at 375ºF. Or scoop out individual amounts of the cold dip and reheat in the microwave for 30-60 seconds.
Can You Freeze Spinach and Artichoke Dip
Yes. Prepare dip, transfer to roasting dish, top with cheese then cover tightly with foil. Freeze for no longer than 2-3 months.
To prepare frozen dip, thaw completely, cover with foil for the first 5 minutes of cooking to prevent top from burning, remove foil and air fry until top is brown and bubbly.
