Air Fried Stuffed Mushrooms
Making stuffed mushrooms in your air fryer is quick, easy and they come out perfect. These stuffed mushrooms are a simple blend of cream cheese, Italian cheese and garlic. The mushroom stems do need to be sautéed on the stovetop, but the stuffed mushrooms are cooked in the air fryer.
The mushrooms get perfectly tender while the tops have that great crispness.

How To Cook Mushrooms In An Air Fryer
- Wash mushrooms. Remove stems and finely chop. Sauté chopped stems in oil over medium/high heat for 2-3 minutes. Add garlic and sauté 1 minute. Add breadcrumbs, salt and pepper. Sauté 1 minute, remove from heat.
- Mix stem mixture, cream cheese and shredded cheese. Set aside.
- Place mushroom caps upside-down on greased air fryer basket. Air fry at 400ºF for 5 minutes.
- Remove any excess moisture from mushrooms. Fill mushrooms with cheese mixture. Return stuffed mushrooms to air fryer basket then air fry at 400ºF for 4-5 minutes. Sprinkle with fresh chopped parsley.
How To Keep Stuffed Mushrooms From Getting Soggy
Do not soak your mushrooms in water when cleaning them. Some people say to just wipe the mushrooms clean instead of washing. I say…gross! I do in fact wash my mushrooms. Just try to do it without them getting water logged.
Par cooking the mushroom caps upside down in the air fryer will release much of the moisture as well.
