I am an 80 yr old woman & love the air frier. Just cooking for me, one person. I still find it hard to cook for just one person but with this I can now do small portions. Yippee 🙂
I had to cook them longer, only because I cut thicker pieces, but they were delicious! Thanks!
It’s very possible that my use of baby carrots and a combination air fryer makes me ineligible to comment but wanted to say that my carrots took wayyyyyy longer than what the recipe called for. I have an air fryer slash oven slash roaster. It’s called a “Ninja”-something. I don’t have a “basket” per say but I have a tray that goes inside. Also, I put the baby carrots on the tray covered in parchment paper and followed directions. After 10 minutes the carrots were very hard, after another 10 minutes they were still hard so at that point I just put them on “bake” and baked them for several additional minutes to get them soft. Once they were soft enough to enjoy, the whole family loved them, even my 4 year old twins!
So I say yes to the recipe because the carrots did turn out to be a hit but, unless I did something wrong or have the wrong kind of air fryer, the time definitely needs to be adjusted to well over double the time on the recipe.
Thank You!
Nope, didn’t work. still hard after 20 minutes
