Meatballs Recipe Using Air Fryer
Like so many other air fryer recipes, this is my favorite way to prepare meatballs. Why? Because these air fried meatballs are quick, easy and so amazing!
When you cook meatballs in an air fryer you get super juicy meatballs that stay perfectly round. The best part, they are done in 15 minutes!
While these basic Air Fryer Meatballs are fantastic for any occasion, Buffalo Chicken Meatballs are perfect fro game day parties or potlucks.
Air Fryer Meatballs Temperature
I like to cook my meatballs quick and hot to lock that juice in. So the cooking temperature is 400º F.
Air Fryer Meatballs Cooking Time
Check your meatballs after 12 minutes.
Air fried meatballs will take 12-15 minutes depending on your air fryer and the size of your meatballs.
Ingredients Needed For Air Fried Buffalo Meatballs (screenshot for grocery list)
- Ground Chicken
- Breadcrumbs
- Large Egg
- Buffalo Sauce
- Garlic Powder
- Onion Powder
- Salt
How To Cook Meatballs In Air Fryer
- Combine ground chicken, breadcrumbs, 1/4 cup buffalo sauce, garlic powder, onion powder and salt.
- Spray air fryer basket with nonstick.
- Roll meat into 10 golfball size meatballs. Place meatballs into air fryer basket. (depending on size of air fryer this may require 2 batches)
- Air fry on 400ºF for 12 minutes. Check at 12 minutes, cook 2-3 more minutes if needed. Cooking time will depend on air fryer and size of meatballs.
- Toss meatballs with remaining sauce. Serve with blue cheese dip, celery and carrots.

- 1 Lb Ground Chicken
- 1/2 Cup Breadcrumbs
- 1 Large Egg
- 1/2 Cup Buffalo Sauce - divided
- 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Onion Powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
Instructions
- Combine ground chicken, breadcrumbs, 1/4 cup buffalo sauce, garlic powder, onion powder and salt.
- Spray air fryer basket with nonstick.
